I knew I'd forget things, It was so fun... we had Trevor and Dana and boys here for a few days and Tiffani and kids a few days and Heston and Nicole a couple of times. We love to have them here. We tried to show them a good time and took them hiking and to a waterfall in the mountains and to the reservoir and to the city park and of course 4-wheeling. I got to tend the little girls while Wrangler and Jesica and Heston and Nicole hiked the mountains. They came home sore and tired. I got to spend one on one time with Areyan and Emrey. When they stay awhile, we get to see the personalities of their kids. Daxtyn's character is showing up as he grows. We haven't seen Braiden (Garett's) since Jan. because they are in Dallas. But he talks to us on the phone as he is trying to push the buttons. Grand kids are the fun part.
Fall update
Hi family, Seems like a good time to catch up the blog. Fall is upon us. This last week has given us cold weather and moisture and wind! I still have to get my spuds out of the garden. Hope I can do that next week. Our summer consisted of getting our new granddaughter, Emrey, here, (she arrived May 26th), sharing some of our other grand kids' birthdays (Boise and Utah) and enjoying Williams' baptism and confirmation the 1st of August. We went to the Williams and the Stewart reunions.
I worked at the dental clinic in Mackay a few days and kept busy with Primary and walking night and morning and yard work. I have had struggles with migraines but am trying a new medication to prevent them and am adjusting to it's side effects, and hoping that I don' have to increase the dose, but have still had a couple of headaches.
I substituted seminary this week in Mackay. They have 21 students this year!!
I have loved conference today and look forward to tomorrow. Brett is still bringing in the crops but everything is baled!! We look forward to the holidays and seeing our kids again. Wrangler is coming home to hunt next weekend, so we'll (sort of) see him sooner than the holidays. All the kids keep busy. Till next urge to blog....

Farm Update
I went out today to see the trench that Brett had dug with the back hoe, to fix a water line and to see if I could post these pictures and share a little of farm life with you. The faucet is by the workshop, so hopefully, when he gets the underground line fixed they can turn on the water and have water to drink and wash with and to work on machinery with there by the shed. ( I suggested that they also put in a water closet- but they didn't take me up on it.)
The little gray kitty is one of about six that we have running around and eating my cat food but not being very friendly. I'm am working on that. But mostly they are for catching mice.
The shot of the house is trying to show what I am spending most of my time on this summer. It is my yard and garden work. The garden is behind the fence. The field sprinkler is finally helping me water it.
The hay is only a small part of the first hay crop, the stack that is right here behind the house and still needs to be stacked. We were very blessed to get it in with very little rain!! Keep our fingers crossed for good prices. Okay...now I will try to get the pictures here with the words.

Hey!!! I am on , with more help from Dana. Trevor and Dana came to visit for a few days and we enjoyed that very much. Talvyn and Daxtyn are so good together! Daxtyn is walking and getting more expressive with his facial expressions. They took in all the tractors, hay haulers and rode in the swather and on the 4 wheelers. Dana got me set up for this blog and gave me some sewing project ideas, so along with the yard and garden, Primary work, family events and help, and reading "the 'Fire and the Covenant", I think that my summer will be full. I do like to lay out in the sun though, so I probably will still "work " that in.
We just celebrated my Mother's 79th birthday with visiting and cake and ice cream. We saw her new vinyl and carpet. It has been one year since my Dad died, so we remembered him and visited the gravesite too. His funeral was on her birthday and their 60th anniversary.
Well, Brett is in full swing with the haying season. The rain has been good and now the warmth will be good. I'd better get outside to do my walking before it gets too hot. (Dana, I did it!!)
